What unifies all your work

I recently read ‘Steal like an artist‘ by Austin Kleon. While some things were kind-of obvious, many messages felt like they were just for me.

Especially this one.

What unites all of your work is the fact that you made it. As anyone with diverse interests might know, it is hard to talk about all the stuff you feel interested in.

Maybe the answer is to keep making, and let the identity emerge from it, rather than thinking about your identity and then making.

Bottom-up > top-down.
